Hair-flipping

This is a practice from English class: a simili poem about an annoying habit.

She flips her hair, like a ballerina spinning

And spinning and spinning and would not stop.

She flips her hair again, like a TV ad song

Playing on repeat, repeat, repeat,

Third time, fourth time, fifth time,- she flips her hair.

Like how the alarm on your phone rings, snoozes, rings, snoozes,

And rings. Like a pimple on the tip of you nose.

Like soggy cereal. Like noises.

Like the scratchy sound of a paper butterfly flapping its wings.
